Polar Bear Logo
The logo is a drawing made by Bruce's brother Bill and is based on a Russian stone carving. The carving was purchased on March 21, 1976 from the Tweed Museum of Art in Duluth, MN. The bear is named Vladimir in honor of Vladimir "Spider" Sabitch, a pro ski racer who died that same day.
