Cannot Write an Article When the Source Is Empty

I have held a pen for 47 years, but I have never written an analysis when there is not a single fact in my hands. There is nothing to dissect, nothing to verify. If I write a 2,589-word analysis about a subject with no information, I am no different from someone who fabricates stories. The empty summer of 2026 was one of the most valuable periods of my career. The Bauer stadium was closed, the league was canceled, but I still had 200 hours of footage to review. Today, by contrast, I have not a single second of footage, not a single match report, not a single player's name to start with. The difference between a journalist and a fiction writer lies exactly there: a journalist needs evidence, and when evidence does not exist, the journalist must stand still. What I can do is offer this: provide the original article, or at least verifiable facts, and I will analyze them with all my ability and experience. My 2,500 words are only worth something when they are written from truth, not from emptiness.
